In the Berlin exhibition "original bauhaus", cooperation with the Bauhaus Agents helps to place the preliminary course centre-stage

Is it possible to convey an understanding of modern architecture through the medium of dance? Under the guidance of choreographer Jo Parkes, the pupils of Bertolt-Brecht-Oberschule explored the connections between space and movement and developed their own "choreography" of the architecture of the Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung.

The Bauhaus was an experimental school with a focus on creativity in its dealings with the world. The aim of students at the Bauhaus was no less ambitious than to redesign everyday life, living, and living together in society. In addition to the key question of "How do we want to live?", there was always the issue of "How do we want to learn or teach?". One hundred years on, what and how can we learn from the historical Bauhaus for cooperation between schools and museums, and for the future outreach programme at the new Bauhaus Museum in Berlin?

A project by pupils from two Berlin partner schools accompanies the development of the Berlin 2019 anniversary exhibition "Original Bauhaus". Side by side with curator Nina Wiedemeyer, they concern themselves with the newly evolving Berlin Bauhaus Museum and the communication and outreach work planned there.
