Opening festival

In 2019 the Bauhaus celebrated its centenary not only in Germany, but also worldwide, with exhibitions, festivals, research projects and symposiums. The centenary was launched with an international festival, held from 16–24 January in Berlin. This focused on the production and presentation of works by contemporary artists in which the aesthetic explorations and experiments of the Bauhaus artists remain alive.
