Coffee and Tea Set
Marianne Brandt, 1924

Designed by Marianne Brandt for the Bauhaus weaver Marli Ehrmann, because of the materials used and the quality of its craftsmanship, the coffee and tea service is one of the most valuable works ever produced in the metal workshop. Fundamental to its design is the use of the elementary forms of the circle or, respectively, the sphere.
