Temporary Bauhaus App
In this app you can learn more about the world's largest Bauhaus collection - with a special guide for children. The collection of the Bauhaus Archive is the world's most comprehensive and multi-faceted collection on the Bauhaus, its history and its continued influence. Its extensive holdings include studies from the classroom, workshop work from all areas of design, architectural plans and models, artistic photographs, documents, the photo archive on the history of the Bauhaus and the library.

While our museum is being renovated and expanded, the Bauhaus Archive is located in the temporary bauhaus-archiv, the temporary location in Berlin-Charlottenburg (Attention: Due to the current situation around COVID-19, the museum is currently closed). This is where we will be experimenting with forms of presentation, events, cooperations and new content in the coming years.
The app contains:
- The audio tour through the collection, which is currently not accessible to the public due to the renovation of the Bauhaus Archive
- An audio tour for children
- Over 100 illustrations of the most important works of the artists at the Bauhaus
- Facebook sharing
- Transcription of the listening texts
